MITCHELL, Katie (nee Jones)Was born on March 1, 1931 in Bangor, Wales and passed peacefully on Monday, October 1, 2012. Cherished mother of Daff Mitchell and wife Nicole. Loving Nain of Nolan and Lauren. Fondly remembered by her former husband Ivor Mitchell. Dearest sister of Ida, John, Dennis and the late Muriel, all of the United Kingdom. Katie had a passion for painting and was a lover of animals and nature. She also greatly enjoyed singing and dancing. She will be forever missed. The family would like to thank all of their family, friends and the staff of Country Village Health Care Centre for all of the compassion and care shown to Katie and themselves.
