After five years, Kathleen and the family moved to Fort William, where she played an active role in parish life at St. Luke's Anglican Church. In 1958, the family moved to Bracebridge where Kathleen, along side her husband, served the people of St. Thomas Church for twenty-four years, faithfully and joyfully, through her many activities particularly with children and teens. She and David retired to Gravenhurst in 1983 to enjoy gardening and many happy family visits. In 1990, following David's passing, Kathleen returned to Bracebridge to take up residence at the Bracebridge Villa where she enjoyed new and old friends and many visits from her children and grandchildren. In 1995, Kathleen made her last move to Kingston to be closer to her son David and daughter Elizabeth. Funeral service will be held at St. Thomas Church, Bracebridge at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, 3 February 2004. Visitation at the Reynolds Funeral Home, 2:30 to 4:30 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, 2 February 2004. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Parkinson Society of Canada. The Ottawa Citizen,
