Kathleen Sargent Wilson, 91, of 1910 Easley Highway, widow of Norman Wilson, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, at Hospice of the Upstate.Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Andy and Nancy Fortner Sargent. She was retired from Anderson School District I, a member of New Hope Baptist Church and the Louise Arflin Sunday School Class.Surviving are sons, Gary Wilson of Piedmont, Bill and his wife,Janet Roach Wilson of Piedmont; sister, Ruth Hunter of Pelzer; brother, Ernest Sargent of Piedmont; five grandchildren, Mike and his wife, Shannon Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Erin Wilson, Tica and her husband Ken Hiott, Tyler Owens; great-grandchildren, Taylor Wilson, Rae Wilson, Andy Wilson and Tyra Rogers.She was predeceased by a sister, Lillian Lollis; and brother, James Sargent.Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at Gray Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Bill Bryant officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.The family is at the home and will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.The family wishes to express their thanks to special caregivers, Jewell Sullivan, Darlene Reid, Denise Cantrell, Sylvene Mayfield, Patti Yon, Donna Cothran, and Hospice House staff.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
