LESLIE, Kathleen (nee Wilson). On February 3, 2004, in Knowlton, Quebec, in her ninety-sixth year, after a short illness. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ogilvy, mother of Ian (Elizabeth Wallace), Peter (Annette Weisberg), Cecilia (the late Hallvard Kuloy), Elizabeth (Ben Higgins), ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Kay, who remained sharp and good-humored to the end, felt herself blessed by her good fortune in having had a long and happy life. She cherished the sixty-five years she had with her dear Ogie, known to many as "head gardener" of their home near Georgeville. She will be remembered for her work with the Girl Guides of Canada and the Townships Peace Group, and will be deeply missed by the family she loved. There will be a memorial service in Georgeville at a later date. In lieu of flowers, gifts to Inter Pares, 221 Laurier Ave. E., Ottawa K1N 6P1, or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
