UntitledKATHLEEN (KAY)W. SMITHKathleen W. Smith passed away peacefully on July 21, 2009 at Covenant Hospice. Kay was born in Jay, FL where she met her beloved husband, Wilson "Smitty" Smith. They became life long residents of Pensacola, FL. Kay was a consummate homemaker and a wonderful mother. She was a Navy Hospital volunteer, Cracker Jack Bridge Player, and a devoted original member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Houston B. and Lottie Gammage Wall, her husband Wilson Gordon Smith, brothers A.D. Wall, Lewis Wall, Ronald Wall and her cherished sister, Ruth Tomlins.She is survived by her loving daughter, Janet Kay Smith and future son-in-law James "Burt" Kimberl; her grandson Nathaniel Houston McCoy; her six great grandsons Bren, Chili, Cayenne, Aji, Zayen and Wyatt McCoy. Also, sisters Arlene Pacetti of Cape Coral, FL and Delores (Paul) Bookout of Pensacola, FL; many nieces and nephews and long time friend, Vernon Fillingam.A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church on Bayou Blvd. at 3:00 p.m. on Monday July 27, 2009.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to: Manna Food Pantries, 116 E.
