OWEN, Kathleen Mary August 23, 1921 - January 3, 2013 Passed away peacefully at home following a brief illness. Survived by her loving daughter Celia, she was predeceased by her husband Cyril. Kathleen was the youngest of eight children. Survived by her sister Dorothy, she was predeceased by her parents James Styles Foxton and Caroline Emily Foxton, her brother Donald, her sisters Marjorie, Cicely, Jessie, Rosalie and Josephine. She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews around the world. Born in Church Fenton, Yorkshire, England, Kathleen joined the staff of the National Provincial Bank in 1937. After moving to Victoria in 1958 she was employed with the Royal Bank and the B.C. Government. She was happiest in her garden and was a long time resident of Esquimalt. Together with Celia she travelled extensively. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. At Kathleen's request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA (Victoria Branch) and the Canadian Wildlife Federation.
