BRYERS Kathleen Lois (nee Alexander) January 15, 1911 May 3, 2007 Safe in the arms of Jesus on Thursday, May 3rd 2007 at Lanark Heights Nursing Home, Kitchener. Loving wife of Clifford for 72 years. Cherished mother of Lois (Robert) Himfen, Peterborough and Beverley (John) Braun of Kitchener. Predeceased by one son Lloyd and two grandsons Clifford and Lloyd Jr.. Also predeceased by one brother Norman Alexander. Adored grandmother of Douglas (Iris) Emery, Chicago, Cathy (Randy) Romano, Lakefield, Philip Emery, Toronto, Wayne (Jennifer) Braun, Kitchener, Trevor (Joanne) Herrle-Braun, St. Agatha and Robin Lynn Braun, Vancouver. Much loved great-grandma to Jordan, Joel, Davis Braun; Alison and Josephine Herrle-Braun; Jimmy and Richard Emery; Ryan, Jesse, Gemma and Ben Romano. Kathleen worked with the Red Cross, is a charter member of Calvary Church St. Catharines, present member of First Baptist Church, Waterloo and a charter member of Super 60's senior program. In their retirement, Kathleen and Clifford volunteered at the medical missionary station in Egbe, Nigeria. Kathleen will be remembered as a very gentle, sweet lady with a wonderful sense of humour. She was an encourager, letter writer, card sender and one who always put other people first. At her request she has willed her body to science. Relatives and friends are invited to join Kathleen's family at a memorial service celebrating her life at 2 PM on Sunday, May 6, 2007 in the chapel of the HENRY WALSER FUNERAL HOME, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener. Rev. Robert Snell officiating. Following the service an open reception will take place in the fireside room of the funeral home from 2:30- 4 PM. Special thank-you to the entire staff at Lanark Nursing Home, especially to Dr. Mutrie and the loving attention given by the caregivers of Chestnut.
