JOHNSON, Kathleen (Kitty) Peacefully on August 22, 2006 in Victoria, in her 98th year. She is survived by her niece, Mary F. Archer (John R. Archer); her great-niece, Lynne (David E.) Gregory; two great-nephews, Christon I. (Carol A.) Archer and Darrel J. (Anthea) Archer and their families and her many good friends. We will all miss her greatly. Aunt Kitty was born in Yorkshire, England and came to Canada as a young girl. She lived in Langley and moved to Victoria with her mother. She worked many years for B.C. Tel and was Chief Operator until her retirement in 1956. Aunt Kitty was a great horsewoman and loved dogs. She was known for her love of gardening and was active in gardening circles within Victoria. She had been a long time and faithful member of St. John's Anglican Church. Funeral services will be conducted by the Reverend Karen Fast from ST. JOHN'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 1611 Quadra Street, on Wednesday, August 30th at 2:00 p.m. followed by cremation.
