TeacherLAKELAND -- Mrs. Kathleen P. Harris of Lakeland died of cancer Monday (April 10, 2006) in Gainesville. She was 77.Born June 14, 1928, in Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Harris moved to Lakeland from Atlanta. She was a teacher. She attended New Bethel AME Church.Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Harris. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara W. Lipscomb, Lakeland; sister, Neola Reese, Cherry Hill, N.J.; and one granddaughter.Visitation will be 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at New Bethel AME Church. Services will follow at 10 a.m. at the church.
