Mrs. Kathleen F. Hoffmannof Matamoras, Pa.Mrs. Kathleen F. Hoffmann of Matamoras, Pa., a former long-time resident of Stockholm, N.J., died Thursday, March 18, 2004, at her home. She was 77. She was born December 30, 1926 in Jersey City, N.J., the daughter of the late Edwin and the late Ellen McCloskey Clark. She was married December 20, 1946 in Holy Trinity Church, Hackensack, N.J., to her loving and devoted husband, Jack T. Hoffmann, who survives her. Kathleen was a devoted volunteer in the Bon Secours Community Hospital Health Care system in both Venice, Fla., and Port Jervis, N.Y. A family statement read, "Kathleen's enthusiasm for life spilled into her love and talent for sewing, gardening, dancing and art. Her kindness and grace touched all who met her." She is further survived and loved by a son, Jack C. Hoffmann, his wife, Linda, Stockholm, N.J.; three daughters, Linda Ann Young and her husband, Ronald, Harpersville, N.Y., Barbara Hoffmann, Mill Rift, Pa., Helen Hoffmann, Montague, N.J.; sister, Ethel Stuhmer and her husband, Jesse, Venice, Fla.; brother-in-law, Robert Hoffmann and wife Dorothy, Bay Head, N.J.; seven grandchidren, Colleen Christen, Daniel Fenescey, Lauren Hettler, Meredith Hettler, Kimberly Hoffmann, Jack C. Hoffmann, and Matthew C. Young; also nieces and nephews.Friends may call at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 East Main Street, Port Jervis, on Saturday, March 20, from 1 to 4 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 20, at 4 p.m. at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home with Deacon Albert Perreault officiating. Cremation will be at H.G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, Pa. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice St. John, 1007 Oak St., Pittston Township, Pa. 18640.
