Kathleen "Kathy" Beatrice Walker - Ludowici -Kathleen "Kathy" Beatrice Walker, 59, died Saturday, April 8, 2006 at Hospice Savannah after a long illness. The native of Oklahoma City was raised and educated in Nicoma Park, OK. She has lived in Long County since 1989. Mrs. Walker was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam Era. She was a homemaker and was retired medically from Civil Service after 13 years. She was a member of the Carcinoid Group. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Ernest E. Walker of Ludowici; sons, Kenneth Walker of Colorado, Brian Walker of New Jersey and Joseph Walker of Georgia; daughters, Jennifer Fonseca, Pamela Carlton both of Ludowici and Jessica Thomas of Glennville; brother, John Alvin Lee III of Oklahoma; sister, Vivian Faye Lee of Indiana; 15 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 13, 2006 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Riley Nelson officiating. Burial: Baggs Cemetery in Ludowici with military honors. Pallbearers: Kenneth Walker, Brian Walker, Billy Bishop, Ernie Hoburg, Mano Fonseca and Justin Thomas. Thomas L.
