KNOX, Kathleen Anne, 64, of Tampa, passed away December 20, 2008, loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend, departed this life surrounded by her beloved family after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her parents, one brother, three sisters and many nieces and nephews. She was a registered nurse and spent most of her career caring for cancer patients at Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa. She was extremely proud of the care that she and the team of healthcare professionals provided for these special patients. Kathy was a blessing who brought a gift of humor and laughter to her family and friends. She always felt it was her mission on earth. She filled our hearts with her love and joy for life. She will be missed, but her memory will be loved and cherished for all our days. In lieu of flowers, Kathy requested donations be made to LifePath Hospice, Melech House, Tampa. A graveside service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, Fla. An online guestbook is available at gardenofmemoriestampa.com
