MENDON Mrs. Kathleen A. (Vandal) Davis, 59, of Mendon MA, died Tuesday evening, April 22, 2008, at her residence, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Robert B. Davis, the son of the late Leo Birmingham and Catherine (McKenzie) Birmingham of Milford. Kathleen was born in Framingham, the daughter of George and Dora (Iannitelli) Vandal. She attended the former Sacred Heart Grammar School as a young girl and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1966. Kathleen was first employed for about 10 years for Cumberland Farms, working in stores located in Milford, Hopedale and Holliston. She later was a dedicated employee for 13 years working at The Home Depot store in Bellingham. Kathleen has been a resident of Mendon for the past 14 years and had been a communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Milford. She will be always loved and remembered by the many family members and friends she has touched over the years. Kathleen is survived by her husband of 15 years; her father and mother, who reside in Milford; two sons, Bryan J. Dalton and his wife, Suzanne, of Webster and Christopher J. Dalton of Mendon; two brothers, George Vandal and his wife, Cheryl, and Mark Vandal and his wife, Maureen, both of Milford; 10 grandchildren; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Friday, April 25, 10:30 a.m., from Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress St., Milford (www.edwardsmemorialfuneralhome.com), followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 a.m., in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (upper church), 7 East Main St., Milford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Milford. Visiting hours will be Thursday evening, from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the New Cancer Care Center at Milford Regional Medical Center, 14 Prospect St., Milford MA 01757.
