Katherine O. Kitty (Marchione) Pitts of Randolph, formerly of Quincy, passed away Feb. 3, 2013, at the age of 84. She was the beloved wife of the late James M. Pitts; loving mother of Arthur Sharpe of Randolph, George Sharpe of Norton, Valerie Ferragamo and her husband Mark of Quincy, Laura Mace and her husband David of Berkley, Greg Sharpe and his wife Kristin of Quincy, Linda Dares and her husband Richard of Rockland, Michael Pitts and his wife Jill of Braintree, and the late Richard Sharpe; devoted grandmother of Jason and Danny Sharpe; and 14 other grandchildren. Also survived by four great-grandchildren. Kitty was born in Quincy, where she grew up and attended Quincy High School. For the past 41 years, she has lived in Randolph. She had worked for many years at Chateau DeVille, Randolph, and Blinstrubs in South Boston. She enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Reposing was held at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 North Main St. (Rte. 28), Randolph, until 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Randolph. Visiting hours were held Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
