Katherine M. Warren Johnson, died May 7, 2006, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.Born Sept. 9, 1924, in Hiddenite, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Cleona and Dewey Warren. Surviving are her four sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Judy Johnson of Greenville, Steve and Heather Johnson of Miami, Fla., Jan and Kathy Johnson of McMinnville, Tenn., and Ty and Stephanie Johnson of New Market, Md.; her sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Charles Winters of Taylorsville, N.C.; and her grandchildren, Kevin and David Johnson, Chad and Cody Johnson, Jason Johnson, and Marylei, Taylor and Nicholas Johnson.Preceding her in death was her husband, Duane Johnson; and a son, Robert Wilson.Services will be Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Peter Berntson officiating.
