KATHERINE HALL MERRITT ISLAND Myrtice Katherine Kat Hall, 74, of Merritt Island, FL, died on Monday, June 5, 2006, at Brent wood Health Care in Lecanto, FL. Myrtice was born on July 1, 1931 in Chipley, FL, one of 14 children, to Clarence and Flow ers Duncan. She was retired. She moved into the Brent wood Nursing Home in Lecanto in 2005 from Merritt Island, FL where she has lived since 1958. Mrs. Hall was a Methodist. Survivors include three chil dren, James (Vickie) Hall of Cocoa, Sheila (Roy) House of Hernando and Kathy (Fred) Hall of Cocoa; three sisters, Frances (Cecil) Harper of Riverview, Bobbie Ward and Phala Duncan, both of Dade City; two brothers, Edward (Freida) Duncan of Plant City and Buddy (Mary) Duncan of Sebring; three grandchildren, Billie Jones of Orange City, Shannon Hatcher of Altamonte Springs and Tracy Martin of Cocoa; and six great- grandchildren, Kasey Jones and Scott Jones of Orange City and Michael Baker and C.J. Hatcher of Altamonte Springs, David Martin and Christopher Martin of Cocoa. Visitation will be held at the Heinz Funeral Home on Friday, June 9th, from 1 to 3 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. Pastor Jonathan Beard will preside. Interment will follow at the Hills of Rest Cemetery in Floral City, FL. Heinz Funeral Home in Inver ness is serving the family.
