Katherine B. Moore SPARTANBURG, SC-- Katherine Blackwell Moore, 71, of 1390 Bethesda Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 28, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Leander and Eva Peace Blackwell. She was a member of Beaumont United Methodist Church and retired from Mary Black Hospital. She is survived by four brothers, Robert Blackwell of Tryon, NC, Harold Blackwell of Spartanburg, Willard Blackwell of Spartanburg, and Jerry Blackwell of Cross Hill; and a sister, Pauline DeLoach of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by brothers, Paul, James, and Richard Blackwell. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM today, March 4, 2010, at Beaumont United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Ed Traxler. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 4, 2010. Burial will be in Greenville in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Dialysis Clinic, 155 Dillon Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307; or to Beaumont UMC, 165 Clearview Drive, Lyman, SC 29365.
