HOLDEN - Katherine Stone died Monday, May 24, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 31, 1949, in Winsted, Conn., the daughter of Michael E. Reidy Sr. and Leona (Silver) Reidy. Katherine is survived by her partner in life, Scott; children, Joel, Kayla, Brianna, Christopher and Sean; sisters, Patricia Danforth and her husband, Michael, and Mary McDonald and her husband, Scott; brothers, Michael E. Reidy Jr. and James P. Reidy; nieces and nephews, Brendan, Dawn, Danielle, Ryan, Amanda, Joshua, Lacey, Kelly, Jimmy, Jeff and Shannon; and very special cousins, Cammie, Marie, Rachel and Tommy. Kathy will be remembered for her big heart, compassion for people and her great sense of humor. Special thanks to New Hope Hospice staff for their excellent care and kindness. A Mass will be held 9 a.m. Saturday, May 29, at St. Joseph's Church, Brewer. A gathering of friends and relatives will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the McDonald residence, 97 Upper Dedham Road, Holden.
