KASSINGER-Henry Frederick age 78 of Farragut, TN, formerly of Setauket and Plainview, Long Island, NY, passed away Thursday evening, March 9, 2006. Henry was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. He was a 30 year life member of the Plainview Volunteer Fire Department. Henry was a veteran of World War II serving with the U S Army. Survivors: wife of 58 years, Vivienne Kassinger; daughters and sons-inlaw, Gayle and Steve Pepper of Port Jefferson Station, NY, Jill and Charles Sadler of Leadville, CO, Amy and Tim Jordan of Maryville, TN; grandchildren, Lorraine Tirino, Penny Combes, Jenny Ann and Christopher Jordan; great grandchildren, Marissa and Vincent Tirino, Matthew Combes; special family members, Judy Gauthier and her daughters, Michele Birsner, Christine Hennessy and their children, Megan, Jason and Alexis; brother and sister-inlaw, Kenneth and Minerva Kassinger of Bethpage, NY; many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church with Dr. Robert Stelter officiating. Interment will follow in the East Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery.
