ObituaryKarl Henry Meyer, 91, of Cape Coral passed away on April 16, 2006 at Cape Coral Hospital.Karl was born on December 29, 1914 in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin to Henry J. and Mathilda (Walther) Meyer. Karl received his graduate degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He was an Aerospace Engineer, retiring from General Motors in 1973. After his retirement he moved to Cape Coral from Greendale, WI. He was a lifetime member of the Wisconsin club the Moose Lodge in Cape Coral. Karl was a parishioner at Christ Lutheran Church in Cape Coral. Survivors include his daughter, Beth Meyer of Florence, Italy, and several nieces and nephews. His loving wife Mildred, who passed away in 1995, preceded Karl in death.A memorial service will be held in Karl's honor at Christ Lutheran Church of Thursday, April 27th, 11:00 am, with a reception to follow at the church.
