Karen M. White, of Weymouth, formerly of Yarmouth and Hyannis, passed away suddenly September 7, 2014, at the age of 58. Karen was raised in Yarmouth primarily by her beloved late grandparents, Mary and Thomas Casey. She graduated from Dennis-Yarmouth High School and became certified in childcare at the Cape Cod Tech. She began caring for Marvin and Sharon Stouts daughters, Megan (Stout) Farias and Franchesca (Stout) Jorgensen in 1976 and became part of the family. Karen spent 18 years working for Colonial Candle of Cape Cod as a tealight lead operator. In recent years, Karen enjoyed working at AMC Theatres in Braintree. Karen lived with Megan and Ruben Farias and their children since 2011. Karen loved the Farias boys, Andrew, Braden and Christian and found a lot of joy waking them up in the morning and taking them to the movies. She also treasured, Teddy, the family dog. Karen had a big heart and was naturally drawn to children, the elderly and animals. She adored nicknames that were given to her such as Ka and My Karen by kids who adored her over the years. Karen is survived by her brother, Jerry White of Yarmouth, his wife Karen, and daughters, Vanessa and Casey; and half-sisters, Janet Broggie and Donna Sauter, both of Valencia, Calif. Karens parents, Constance and Gerald, predeceased her. A funeral will be held at St. Francis Xavier in Weymouth at 9:30 a.m. October 17, followed by a burial at Ancient Cemetery in Yarmouth, at 1 p.m. All are respectfully invited to attend. Karen will be missed by those who were blessed to have known her.
