->OLD TOWN - Karen Lynn (DeGrasse) Davis, 46, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 21, 2013, at a Bangor hospital.Karen grew up in Orono and attended Orono schools, and the University of Maine. She also graduated from beauty school and worked in the field for some time. Later she worked as a telephone dispatcher. Karen is survived by her father and stepmother, Joseph A. and Susanne DeGrasse of Glenburn; mother, Joann Peavey of Brooksville, Fla.; daughter, Nicole Lee DeGrasse of Florida; son, Travis Davis of Bangor, both formerly of Orono; sister, Carol Ann DeGrasse of Levant; nephews, Jamie DeGrasse and Ricky Robinson; and beloved granddaughter, Kallista. She was predeceased by her former husband, Randy Davis of Orono. Karen will be missed by longtime special friend, John Morgan of Augusta. She will be remembered by family for her loving, compassionate and giving heart.Karen's constant love was always for animals. Contributions in her memory may be made to Bangor Humane Society.
