Karen Jordan, 68, passed away on January 3rd. The daughter of the late Ken and Rita Storm (Jacobs), Karen was born in Philadelphia, Pa. and spent most of her adult life in Florida working in the hospitality industry. She later retired in Springfield. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, and country music. Karen was also a gifted prose writer, blessing us often with her beautiful creations. She leaves her daughter, Tressi Jordan of N.J., sister Denise Enos and Husband John of Ct., brother Tim Storm and family of Ga., Brother Jeff Storm and family of Wa., brother Mark Storm of Fla., brother Gary Storm of Holyoke, Edward and niece Jessica Larivee of Chicopee, nephew Justin Larivee and family of Ct., and dear friend Judy Kivisto of Wa. Karen’s family thanks the VNA, Mr. Brian Savlick and family, and the East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Center for all of your kindness and care through Karen’s trial of cancer. Dear Mom, Sister, Friend- you showed courage, compassion and love through it all; you are our inspiration!
