MACDONALD Karen J. MacDonald, 46, (Formerly Karen Lynn Jolly) born December 24, 1954 in Vicksburg, Mississippi, died on October 8, 2001 at St. Lukes Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a resident of Jacksonville and had formerly lived in Boston, MA, Asheville, NC & Vicksburg, MS. Karen attended Warren Central High School in Vicksburg, MS and was a licensed Realtor and Appraiser in Asheville, NC & Boston, MA. She worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the Real Estate Division in Jacksonville, FL and previously in Lexington, MA. Survivors include husband, Richard L. MacDonald; son, Wesley L. MacDonald; daughter, Meghan E. MacDonald; father, Herbert M. Jolly; brother, Robert M. Jolly; sister, Elizabeth J. Kelley. Her mother, Ann Gates Lakowicz, preceded her in death. The visitation will be Friday, October12, 2001 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 13, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Red Cross is requested.
