PALM COAST - Karen Hogan Hale, 64, of Lafayette Lane, a cosmetologist, died Wednesday at Manor Care Nursing Center, Winter Park. Ms. Hale was born in Valdosta, Ga., and moved to Flagler County in 1969. She was a member of Johnson Memorial Church, Flagler County Historical Society and the Daughters of the Confederacy. Survivors include two sons, James and Greg Hogan, both of Oviedo; a daughter, Kimberly Smith, Flagler Beach; and seven grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Johnson Memorial Church Building Fund, 5299 Oceanshore Boulevard, Palm Coast, FL 32164.
