ALBANY, N.Y. Karen H. Smith, 49, died peacefully in Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, Fla. on November 19, 2004. She was the daughter of the late Helen M. (Creed) Smith and William H. Smith Sr. Survivors include her sister, Deborah M. (Smith) Oddy of East Greenbush, N.Y. and her brother, William H. (Rhonda) Smith Jr. of Averill Park, N.Y.; her Aunt Ruth M. (Creed) Bowe of Albany; her dear companion and friend, Mike Hancock of Cocoa, Fla.; several nieces, nephews; cousins; and friends.
