KAREN G. JOHNSON "K.J." EAST CHICAGO, IN Karen G. Johnson, age 60, of East Chicago, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 at Community Hospital in Munster. She is survived by two daughters: Che'Reese (Derrick) Turner and Candace Johnson; one son, Brandon Johnson; six grandchildren: Jailen Harvey, L'Zaria French, Donovan and Dominic Turner, Adrian and Dorian Johnson; devoted friend, Harvey Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents: George and Minnie Allen. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Hinton & Williams Funeral Home, 4859 Alexander Ave., East Chicago with Rev. Gregg Frazier officiating. Interment at Fern Oaks Cemetery, Griffith. Visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2013 at Hinton & Williams Funeral Home from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
