MANCHESTER -- Karen Angela Carter, 60, died May 31, 2009, at a local hospital. She was born in Lawrence, Mass., March 10, 1949, to Harold Carter of Maine and Helen (Sarcione) Pelletier of San Jacinto, Calif. In addition to her parents she leaves a daughter, Susan Waters of Keene; a brother, Ronald Carter of Valencia, Calif.; a half-sister, Shelley Pelletier of North Carolina; and nieces and nephews. SERVICES: A memorial service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the shore of Massabesic Lake, near the Massabesic Lake traffic circle, with the Rev. Robert Beal officiating. Refreshments will be served after the service at the Random Acts of Kindness Church of God, 45 Manchester St., Manchester. In the event of rain, the gathering will be held at the church.
