Kathleen "Kate" F. Rogers Smith, 78, of Sanford, died Thursday, February 26, 2004 at Manor Care of Pinehurst. Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 6, 2004 at St. Stephen Catholic Church by Father John Forbes. Born in Bronx, New York, Mrs. Smith was a daughter of the late William Rogers and Rose Mulholand Rogers. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Harold J. Smith; five daughters, Rosemary Harnett of Sanford; Maureen Eagen of Holliston, MA, Tracy Smith of Yonkers, NY, Sheila Coughlin and Tara Smith, both of Tarrytown, NY; three sons, Paul Smith and Mark Smith, both of Tarrytown, NY and Greg Smith of Dobbs Ferry, NY; two sisters, Rosemary Fleener of Montrose, NY and Joan Carragher of Dunwoodie, GA. Also surviving are ten grandchildren.
