<!-- FH = Anderson-Patterson Cremation & Funeral Services -->Katherine Rita WalkerMay 2, 2012Our beautiful Mother, Catherine Rita Payne Walker went peacefully to sleep on May 2, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's. She was predeceased by her parents Vincent and Catherine Esposito, husbands, John Payne and Cullie Walker, daughter, Louise Rita Payne, step-son James Payne, brother, Vincent Esposito, sister, Rose LaBorde. Born in Providence, RI on December 11, 1925 she and Dad moved our family to Fort Myers in 1956. Mom worked for 19 years at Elastromers/Ohio Medical, as a supervisor. Mom lived the majority of her life in Fort Myers, but never forgot her Italian roots and our family enjoyed her Italian cooking. Years after our Dad died, Mom married a wonderful man, Cullie Walker. Cullie and Mom spent their retired years boating and fishing. Mom will be sadly missed by her son, John Payne (Lisa), daughters, Barbara Chapman (Terry), Linda Fadier, and Cameron Larson (Tibe), grandsons, John Jr., Paul, Stacy, Rodney, Tommy, Russell and Tibe Martin, granddaughters, Leandra, Cathy, Sherry and Michelle, several great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, and a wonderful family friend, Doris Waller. Mom loved her dogs and cats and was there to take care of any animal when they appeared at her door. A private service will be held at a later date.
