June C. Age 87 of Bethany Village and former long time resident of Westlake St., Horseheads passed away after an illness on Wednesday, March 20, 2002. Predeceasing was her husband of over 58 years, Ernest W. Taylor on April 20, 1993, daughter-in-law, Letty Taylor in 1992, and sister, Emily White. Her surviving family includes her son, Ernie C. (Julie) Taylor of DuBois, PA; Grandchildren, Eve (William) Camuso of DuBois, PA; Amy (Richard) Morrison of Etters, PA; & Jay Taylor of Memphis, TN; Great grandchildren, Alissia & Owen Camuso, Caleb, Eva & Jacob Morrison, Brothers and Sisters, Richard (Jane) Carrier of Pine Valley, NY, and Ocala, FL; Alan (Rebecca) Carrier of Ovid, NY; & Wilma Carlton of Alpine, NY; along with several nieces, nephews, neighbors and close and caring friends. June was born April 4, 1914, daughter of the late Floyd & Carrie (Greenough) Carrier. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Horseheads and a retiree of Westinghouse, Inc. in Horseheads. She was an active volunteer for the Horseheads Historical Society and the Horseheads Food Pantry. Friends are invited call at the First United Methodist Church in Horseheads on Sat. April 6, 2002 from 2:30-4:00 p.m. Services will follow there in the church at 4:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Robert O. Sherburne officiating. Interment will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Horseheads at the convenience of the family. Arrangements with Barber Funeral Home, Horseheads.
