June P. Roseof OwegoJune P. Rose, 74, of Owego, passed away Saturday evening, September 18, 2004 at her home. June was born June 9, 1930, the daughter of the late Arthur and Frances (Schwarz) Peck. June is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert E. Rose; their children, Stuart Rose and his wife Carolyn, Canandaigua, N.Y., JoEllen Rose and her husband, Paul Phillips, Owego, Kimberlee Rose and her husband, Levi Adaams, Penfield, N.Y., Michaeline Rose, Sanbornton, N.H., Darren Rose and his wife, Jennifer, Orlando, Fla., Joshua Rose, Germantown, Md., and Justin Rose, Fruitland Park, Fla.; also 12 grandchildren; and her childhood and lifelong friend, Sally McGrain. June was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Owego, and the V.F.W. Womens' Auxiliary, the American Legion Womens' Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church with the Rev. William Moorby officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Estey & Munroe Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego.
