MORRISON, June Helen (nee Dalsin) August 4, 1927 - May 3, 2006 It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of June Morrison on Wednesday, May 3, 2006, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. June is lovingly remembered by her husband Ron, sons Tim (Roxanne), Mack (Suzy), Mitch (Eileen), Dugald (Janet), and Duncan (Christine); grandsons Ian and Devlin; sisters Norma, Marjorie, Doris, and Audrey; brothers Cliff and Ron; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. June is predeceased by her parents Frank and Agnes Dalsin, twin sister Joyce, and brothers Leo, Gordon, Ralph, and Ben. June was highly educated and an incredibly gifted artist who touched so many lives with her beautiful and gentle spirit. She earned three college and university degrees while working and raising her family. She worked as a Commercial Artist with various advertising firms and taught Commercial Art at Victoria Composite High School for 25 years until her retirement in 1988. A Funeral Liturgy will be held Monday, May 8, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew's Parish, 13131 - 86 Street, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta. A special thank you to the caring staff of Venta Care Centre as well as the Good Samaritan Society for their kindness and devotion during June's stay and especially her final days. You truly are angels on earth.
