June Elna Martin Crown Point June Elna Martin, age 78, of Crown Point, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2004. June was born July 4,1926, to Gustave R. and Elna M. Samuelson. She was very involved with the 4-H Club and Past President of the Lake County Extension Homemakers Association.She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #731. She retired from All State Insurance Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gustave R.and Elna M. Samuelson and her brother, Gordon Samuelson. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William A. Martin; four children, Bill ( Cindi) Martin of Sparks, NV, Nancee (Joe) Delich of Chicago, IL, Deb (Larry) Zych of Valparaiso, Judi (Gary) Roster of Flint, MI; 10 grandchildren,Christopher, Holly, Shannon, Michael, David, Jonathan, Andrew, Spencer, Steven and Taylor; brother,Harry (Emmy) Samuelson of Chicago, IL; sister-in-law, Gloria (Dale) Henderson of Naperville, IL and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services Saturday, August 14, 2004, 11:00 A.M. at the Burns Funeral Home (corner 101st and Broadway) Merrillville/Crown Point Chapel, Rev. John Starr officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the Burns Funeral Home from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. (time of services). Services will terminate at the funeral home with cremation to follow. Contributions may be made to the St. Anthony Franciscan Hospice in Crown Point.
