June-Lloyd Morrison, née en 1987, conjointe de Robert Morrison, fille de Thomas et Agnes, est décédée le 9 juin 2006 à l'âge de 19 ans.
Morrison, June Lloyd, went peacefully to be with her Lord June 9, 2006 from complications related to cancer. Born in Philadelphia, PA one of eleven children of Harold and Martha Lloyd all of whom predeceased her. Married to Robert Morrison who was born in Scotland to Thomas and Agnes Morrison also deceased. Widowed in September 1992 June is survived by four children Robert, David (Amy), Bonnie St. John (Richard), and Thomas (Christy); grandchildren Christina Morrison, Jennifer Morrison Naugle (Randy), Holly Morrison, Thomas Robert Morrison (grandson Jordan Morrison died unexpectedly in December 2005 at age 19); great-grandson Randy George Naugle, III. June graduated from John Bartram HS in Philadelphia. She served as Senior Class Treasurer and was a commencement speaker. June met her husband of 47 years Robert in the work place at the 1st Pennsylvania Bank. They courted by mail while Bob served four years as a Captain in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. They married in 1945 and moved to Ft. Lauderdale in 1967. Members of Church by the Sea, June was a Deacon, President and Treasurer of the Fellowship of Women, Choir Member, served on various committees and was the Director of Daily Vacation Bible School. Red Cross Volunteer and Volunteer of the Broward General Medical Center Auxiliary (Board Member and Committee Chairman) for which she recently was awarded the Gold Lifetime Achievement Award for Volunteer Service by President George Bush. June's life was filled with service to her family, friends and community in Ft. Lauderdale, Tamarac, Pennsauken, NJ and Philadelphia. She served as Treasurer of the United Presbyterian Women Tropical Florida for five years, Treasurer of the Stranahan HS Band Parents Association, Clerk of the Polls, Volunteer Librarian, Cub Scout Den Mother, Girl Scout Leader and was active in her Homeowner's Association of The Mainlands, Tamarac, FL. Family, friends and neighbors will deeply miss this sweet and loving lady who gave so much to so many in service to her Lord and to her fellow man. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service celebrating June's life July 8, 2006, 11:00 am, Church by the Sea, 2700 Mayan Drive, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316, 954-523-6472.
