June Wickliffe Clark, 77, of 109 Ida Drive, died Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at St. Francis Hospital, Downtown. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late J. Frank Wickliffe, Sr. and Nell Hester Wickliffe. June retired from J.D. Hollingsworth and following her retirement worked with her brother at Wickliffe Insurance Agency in Simpsonville. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Mauldin, where she served in the church choir, prayer ministry and played the hand bells. Surviving are Jim Hendrix, her dear friend and companion of many years; two daughters, Rebecca Clark Stacey of Pawley's Island, and Laura Clark Kuhlman of Portage, Mich.; a son, Mike Clark of Simpsonville; a sister, Linda W. Miller of Fountain Inn; a brother, Frank Wickliffe of Fountain Inn; and four grandchildren, Kim Stacey Misof, Allison Stacey, Jessica Kuhlman and Kristen Kuhlman. Memorials may be made to the ALS Association of Georgia, 1955 Cliff Valley Way, Suite 116, Atlanta, GA 30329, in memory of June Clark. Visitation will be held Friday, June 22, 2007, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 23, 2007, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Mauldin. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
