JACKSON, Julia Peacefully, in hospital, Perth on Friday, January 24th, Julia (Gemmill) Jackson (retired co-owner of Jackson Funeral Home, McDonalds Corners) in her 95th year. Daughter of the late John and Margaret (Purdon) Gemmill. Wife of the late William J. "Bill" Jackson. Loved mother of Kathleen (Morley) McOuatt of Timmins. Clarice (Herel) Duncan and John (Joan) of McDonalds Corners, Wilhelmine (Ronald) Wisewell of White Rock B.C., Harvey (Denise) of Perth, Jim (Linda) of Ottawa, Brenda (Fred) Lodge of Lindsay and the late Sandra Telford and Gail Jackson. Sadly missed by her 18 grandchildren and their families. Dear sister of Willard (Gladys) Gemmill of Perth and the late Roy, Edward and Lawson Gemmill, Edna Dunlop and Clara Miller. Mother-in-law of Roy Telford of Cochrane and Ruth Jackson of Perth. Julia will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by family, friends, nieces and nephews. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth on Sunday January 26th 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Monday, January 27th from 12 noon until 1:15 p.m. in Knox Presbyterian Church, McDonalds Corners for family and friends in the McDonalds Corners community; the funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Interment, Highland Line Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to Knox Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
