JULIA I. OWENS of ConklinJulia I. Owens, 91, went to be with her Lord and husband, July 18, 2001. Julia was predeceased by her husband, Albert in 1984. She is survived by her loving family; two daughters and one son-in-law, Beverly Birtch, Conklin and Lillian and George Bernard Atkinson, Conklin; one son, Donald Owens, Conklin; three grandchildren, Glen Scott Merrill, Conklin, Tim Merrill, Conklin and Kelly Birtch, NYC; one brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Frances Simpson, Va.; one sister, Delores Birtch, Binghamton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral and committal service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2001 at the Peter P. Savage Funeral Home, 338-344 Conklin Ave., Binghamton, N.Y. with the Rev. Robert T. Peak officiating. The family will welcome friends from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the family plot at the Shawsville Cemetery, Conklin, N.Y.
