She was a devoted wife and loving mother.Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Lee Hensley; 1 sister, Louise Benton of Hendersonville, NC; 6 sons, Gordon Allen (Vickie), Bobby Clark (Tammy), Keith Brian Hensley (Becky), Donnie Hensley (Sherry), Jerry Hensley (Leasa) and Harold David Hensley (Tracy); 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many "adopted" children and grandchildren that she loved.Mrs. Hensley was predeceased by her parents, Charlie and Hattie Shook Stanley and twin brothers.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.The family will be at the home of the son, Gordon Allen.Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.thehowzemortuary.comThe Howze Mortuary, Travelers Rest, is in charge of the arrangements.
