Judy L. Smith, 47, of Winchester passed away Friday Sept 6, 2013 at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie. She was born March 6, 1966 in Connersville to the late William and Patricia Steele Pollitt. Judy has been employed at J & J Packaging in Brookville, Buckeye family as a caretaker at a group home and at Tomasco in Winchester. She loved her family and enjoyed her nieces and nephews and was an animal lover. Survivors include her brothers, Dennis and Kathy Pollitt of Winchester, Thomas Pollitt and Mary Smith of Winchester and Jason and Lisa Pollitt of Ridgeville; sisters, Dorothy and John Thomas of Winchester and her twin sister, Janet West of Winchester; and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Joel and Timothy Pollitt; and a sister, Susan Bushong. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home, Connersville. Burial is at Valley Grove Cemetery.
