Judy Ann Johnson BALLSTON SPA - Judy Ann Johnson, 66 years, of West Milton Road passed away July 1, 2013, at Saratoga Hospital after a long illness. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born July 19, 1946 in the city of Watertown, NY, she was the eldest of 8 children of the late Jack and Ellen Patchen Farrell of Evans Mills, NY. She married Vernon Lee Johnson, of Watertown, NY on August 10, 1963. Judy was employed by Saratoga Hospital for 20+ years. She moved to Ballston Spa, NY in 1969, where she was a valued member of the Milton Eagles, Rock City Falls Volunteer Fire Dept., Woman's Auxiliary and with the Community Emergency Corps of Ballston Spa as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) where she served as a first responder for several years. Survivors, including her husband, Vernon are three sons, Terry Lee, born 9/24/66 and his wife, Tara, PA, Dan William, born 11/26/6, Ballston Spa, and Brandon Scott, born 11/04/72 and his wife, Erica, Clifton Park; grandchildren Amanda Hettler, Ashley Johnson, & Alexander Johnson, along with 3 great grandchildren, Rylan, Rachael and Nathan. Besides her parents, a son, Gary Vernon Johnson, a brother, Gary Farrell, her sister-in-law, Jill Farrell and an Uncle Edwin Widrick died before her. Along with the many lives she touched as an EMT and a Saratoga Hospital Employee, she will be missed by countless nieces, nephews, family and friends. A graveside service will be 11 am Friday, July 5 at Sanford Corners Cemetery, Calcium with Pastor David Snyder of the United Methodist Church in Evans Mills officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her son Gary. Arrangements are with Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa.
