Julia "Judy" Green Smith, 74, wife of Homer Charles Smith of 8 Lakeview Drive, died Monday, September 17, 2001. Born in Columbus, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Roland and Lela Bradley Green. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of Freedom Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Charles Dennis Smith of Greenville, Vaughn Graham of Easley, and Steve Graham of Greer; a step-son, Roy E. Smith, of Mauldin; sisters, Grace Harrison of Lakeland, FL, and Katie Sue Hall of Hendersonville, NC; brothers, Roland Green Jr. of Clinton, and Ernest A. Green of Lakeland, FL; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Freedom Baptist Church, with burial at Graceland Cemetery. The family is at the residence.
