-><!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Smith, Judy A.Montrose, PA: Heaven gained another angel when Judy passed away on March 31, 2014 in Scranton, PA after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her sister Joan, mother and father, William and Eleanor Geiger, to whom she was born to on July 27, 1938 in Binghamton NY, her loving husband of almost 57 years, Warren Smith and grandson-in-law, Justin Fenske. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Brian Bailey, Robin and Jack Cohn, three grandchildren, Cheryl and Chris Isaak, Steve and Brandi Bailey and Krista Fenske; three great grandchildren, Gavin Issak, Lincoln Bailey and Benjamin Fenske; brother, Gary Geiger; several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the heart of her family. It gave her great pleasure doing things with and for her family. A better wife, mother and grandmother would be hard to find. She was an excellent homemaker and had a talent for crafts. Almost as much as she enjoyed doing things for her family, were the things she did for other people. Judy had many friends and will be remembered for her kindness and generosity by all. A special thanks to all the wonderful people who work with Our Sacred Hearts Hospice. They truly made Judy's illness much easier on her and all her family. A finer group of people you would never find. Also, thanks to the staff at Gracious Living Estates and the staff at VNA Hospice at Geisinger who cared for Judy in her final days. Our hats are off to you Judy, for making the world a better place when you were in it. You will be sadly missed by everyone whose lives you touched. You can take great pride in the fact that you will live on through the values and things you have taught your children and grandchildren. We love you. Rest in peace. Per Judy's request there will be no services. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Sacred Heart Hospice.
