She was retired from Piedmont Industries and a member of Belvue Baptist Church.Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Larry Williams; children: Meri (Ansel) Gilreath and Missy (Chris) Rathbone; grandchildren: Dylan Rathbone and Ansley Gilreath; sisters: Marguerite (Cecil) Ballenger, Linda (Lloyd) Carter and Sarah Elaine (Sam) Nalley; brothers: Harold (Margaret) Hawkins and Gary (Betty) Hawkins; a special sister-in-law: Carolyn Hawkins and a special brother and sister-in-law: Morris and Pat Williams.Along with her parents, she was also predeceased by a brother, Larry Hawkins.Visitation will be held Friday afternoon from 5 until 6:30 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary with a memorial service to follow in the Howze Mortuary Chapel at 6:30 p.m.The family will be at 5315 Mountain View Rd., Taylors, SC.Memorials may be made to the Greenville Humane Society, 328 Furman Hall Rd., Greenville, SC 29609.Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.thehowzemortuary.com.The Howze Mortuary, Travelers Rest is in charge of the arrangements.
