BROWN Judith Gaye Brown - age 63, passed away on February 6, 2008. Gaye, a native of Mobile, retired from the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers in December 2006. She was preceded in death by her father, Aldrich Brown, II and her sister, Connie Brown. She is survived by her daughters, Ashley Logan (Steven) Weant and Jennifer Logan (Michael) Knepshield; her mother, Jessie Newhard; her brother, Al Brown, III; two grandchildren, Katie Whatley and Piper Knepshield; in addition to many friends and relatives. Gaye was a devoted grandmother and loving friend. She will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services will be held at 10 A. M. on Saturday, February 9, 2008 from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 P. M. until 8 P. M. on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society (Breast Cancer Research) at 1-800-227-2345. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
