JUDITH ELLEN THOMAS O'NEAL HURRICANE, WV Judith Ellen Thomas O'Neal, 69, of Hurricane, WV, died suddenly Saturday, March 6, 2010, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV, with her family and friends at her side. She was a native of Hammond and a 1959 graduate of Morton High School. Judy earned a bachelors and a master's degree from Indiana University. After moving to West Virginia in 1975, she taught science at Hurricane Middle School for twenty five years, retiring in 2004. Judy was preceded in death by her parents: Mary Fekete Thomas and John J. Thomas. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Kenneth A. O'Neal; son, David A. O'Neal and wife, Susan, of Huntington, WV; son, Douglas B. O'Neal of Clarks Summit, PA; son, Daniel C. O'Neal, of St. Albans, WV; and grandchildren: Kristen, Kacie, Andrew, Matthew, Adam, and Emily O'Neal, all of Huntington, WV. Graveside services were held at Valley View Memorial Park in Hurricane on Wednesday, March 10, 2010.
