->SOUTH CHINA --Ê"Our Sweet Judy," one of life's most precious gifts, passed on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006. Judith Ann 'Judy' Clark gives to all who knew her memories of her dignity, her deep compassion, and her ability to make those of us she touched feel and embrace the love and tenderness that she so easily bestowed upon us. We are honored to have the privilege to love such a truly wonderful woman.Judy was born Sept. 23, 1948, the daughter of Florence Wainer Rancourt and Philip Raphael Rancourt, both of whom predeceased her. She was raised in Waterville on Edgemont Avenue where she found and nurtured lifelong friendships with her wonderful girlfriends Peggy, Betty, and Janis. What a wonderful thing it is to have and hold close such friends over one's lifespan.Judy was 13 when her mother gave birth to her sister, Kathy. Judy was so happy and proud to have a baby sister. The loving bond that developed between them brings a smile to those fortunate to see what sisters they truly are. Judy radiates joy and pride over Kathy's personal and professional accomplishments. She also loves her South Carolina set of twins, Katie and Peter.To Kathy, her husband Mike, and Katie and Peter, always know that your importance and love nurtured her spirit and made it soar.Judy is the proud mom of her daughter, Kelly. She and her late husband, Kerry Clark, lived along with Kelly in Winslow for many years. Kelly, know how much your mom loves you and will continue to watch over you as years go by. You are truly special and blessed to have Judy within your spirit whenever you seek her.Granddaughter Lyndsay always brought a smile to Judy's heart. What a joy it is to see her develop into such a fine young woman, excellent student, and compassionate individual. You and Jimmy will continue to grow and develop your strengths knowing that Judy's inspiration is but a thought away.For the last seven years, Judy and her beau, Thomas Jones, have nurtured and built a life of deep love and admiration for each other. We built our dream home, a log cabin in the woods, and lived there with our dog, Coco. This house is a home because of what Judy brought to our lives. This home will always echo with her laughter, will always be warmed by her grace and dignity, and will always heartily welcome visitors, friends, and guests, the way Judy has always welcomed all into her life.Special thoughts of thanks and happiness go out to many wonderful people for all that they do and all that they are. We will never forget the importance in our lives of such people as; Peggy, Wayne, Jason and Chris; Betty, Jack, Mark, Sean, and Kim and families; Karla and Jack; Jim and Stina, Chris and Allison; Cousin Sandy, Steve, Katye, and Jessica; Janis, Gary, Gretchen and family, Stan Ski, Jan and Chris; Ricky and Cindy and family; Tony and Joyce, mother-in-law Lura Russell; Francena Cole; Beverly Clark, Caryl Estes and Sonny King; Ann Bell; Dot; Nancy; Joyce B.; Cheryl St. P; Brian B.; Tricia and Jeni; Mimi R.; Boss and Re; Jeff and Babs; Carroll and Phyllis and family; and all our great friends and supporters from the Winslow VFW. A gathering of friends will immediately follow at the Winslow VFW Post, Veteran's Drive, Winslow.
