Judith A. Whipple-BrownROCHESTER - Judith A. Whipple-Brown, 62, of 71 Gold Rush Lane in Rochester, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at The Langdon Place in Dover. Born Jan. 15, 1950, in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Perley and Rita (Cyr) Whipple. Judy has lived in Rochester for the past four years after living in Portsmouth where she worked for 24 years as a para professional caring for children with special needs. She was very active in many area organizations to help United States veterans, member of the DAV Auxiliary, Commander of Chapter 4, Senior Commander of DAV and helping at the Veterans Home in Tilton. She would spend many hours after school with a program called Friends Project for Special Needs Children. She enjoyed helping, caring and watching these wonderful children grow. She also enjoyed crafts, shopping, modeling and singing. Members of her family include her husband Edwin Brown, Jr. of Rochester, her daughter, Meredith Marquis and her husband Glen of Rollinsford, her sons; Eddie Brown and his fiance Maggy Kramer of Madbury and Brandon Brown and his wife Monica of Newmarket, her grandchildren Katelynn Marquis, Galina and Cole brown, her step-grandchildren; Anisha Kramer, Arielle Elliott and Justin Marquis, her sisters; Brenda Whipple of Lancaster, and Sandy Willey of Dalton, her brothers; Perley Whipple of Bethlehem, N.H., and Lance Whipple of Lancaster, she is predeceased by her grandchildren, David Harris Jr. and Brooke Marquis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to DAV Chapter 4 in Newington, Friends Program, 195 Greenleaf Ave., Portsmouth N.H. or to the Sol Amor Hospice, 65 Lafayette Road, Suite 302, North Hampton N.H. 03862. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at 11 a.m. with calling hours to be held one hour prior in the chapel of the R.M.
