August 2, 2012 Judith A. (Mills) Mauro, 66, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday. Born in Massena, NY, she lived in the Syracuse area for 55 years. Judith was a co-owner and operator of Salt City Site Works. She enjoyed playing cards, going to Florida in the winter, reading, and the casino. Predeceased by her mother, Eva M. Mills in 1982; daughter, Debra Ann Washburn in 1980; and brother, Robert Mills in 1986. Judith is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Joseph G. Mauro Sr. of Liverpool; son, David T. Washburn of Marietta, GA; stepchildren, Linda (Ronald) Kotowski of Liverpool, Joseph G. (Gail) Mauro Jr. of Cicero, Martin L. (Erin) Mauro of N. Syracuse, James E. Mauro of Mattydale, George (Dorothy) Mauro of Ocala, FL, Karen (William) Jones of Cicero, and Carmen A. (Rebecca) Mauro of Liverpool; sisters, Connie McKlosky of FL, Doris Smith of NV, Gloria Musser of FL, and Myrt (Jim) Hallada of TN; and several grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 9:15 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
