Juanita was born on February 7, 1928 in Jay, FL, the daughter of Grady and Jessie Blackman. She was employed as the office manager by the Goodyear Tire Co. for over 30 years retiring in 1986. She was also employed as a bookkeeper for many years by the Cordova Counseling Center. She was an active member of Ferry Pass UMC. She loved traveling and visiting with her children and grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton J. Smith of Pensacola; four brothers, Obie, Verdie, Dan and Cyrus; and one sister, Vera Ruben.Juanita is survived by her three daughters, Carol Henry of Cookville, TN, Glenda Propheter (James) of Aurora, IL and Terri Lenn (Tom) of Pensacola, FL; seven grandchildren, Anthony Webb, Carlen and Clayton Smith of TN, Michael and Sarah Propheter both of IL, and Tyler and Tara Lenn of Pensacola; a sister, Glenda Cease of PA and a brother, John Blackman of AZ.As per her wishes, no services are planned.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ferry Pass UMC, 7300 N.
